Standard Chartered will launch a 3-month International Internship Programme from July to

September 2018. The online application system has opened to public. Those who excel in the

Internship Programme will be offered the opportunity to get into the 2019 International

Graduate Programme.

  1. Assist in developing sales strategy for clients and pitches for new products.

  2. Learn about segments, industries and how client working capital cycles impact business.

  3. Analyse research trends and current market conditions to contribute to launching new

products to market.

Below are some of the projects and opportunities you can expect as part of our Global Bnaking

stream:

  1. Build financial models and provide the analysis and insight on the impacts of different capital

structures.

  1. Originate deals, prepare and pitch to clients.

  2. Work on critical research and provide insights to deal teams on key markets, industries and

clients.

  1. Work with teams across the bank to manage credit approval processes, onboard clients and

take responsibility for account planning.

stream:

Commercial Banking

  1. Analyse and create pitchbooks, confirming client deals and coordinating client events as part

of our Sales teams.

  1. Price, test, develop and roll-out new products as part of our Structuring teams.

  2. Provide insights on balance sheet movements, report changes in liquidity profiles and track

trading desk funding profiles as part of our ALM teams.

  1. Support senior desk members executing and inputting hedging trades and provide pricing to

sales desks as part of our Trading Teams.

Accounting major.

  1. Eligible candidate should be able to do full time internship during early July to end of

September 2018 and graduate before end of August 2019.
