影片创意新巧，制作精良，发人深省。电影的主线是戈尔的一次讲座，穿插其中的是他的童年、国会

年代为气候变化所做的斗争、 2000 年极具争议性的大选和 “ 败选 ” 后重新上路、周游全球做讲座的经

历。讲座穿插了大量引人入胜的或触目惊心的图片、翔实的数据和录像资料。哪怕只是为了看一眼那

些世界上你还没有去过的或者今后也不太可能看到的地方（比如正在消失的南极冰川和格陵兰冰川

等），本片也是值得一看的。

在讲座中戈尔三次在大屏幕上打出名言，都用得恰到好处。这些名言，现在听起来依然振聋发聩。
