Q-Why do you should be at onshore for this role

My client is willing to execute this program in agile mode and that too in complete onshore model. That means, I need to

manage complete team at onshore and I need to participate in “daily” project planning, progress, dependency/risk/issues and

deliverables meetings with Client & other vendors. In Agile project execution in-person, class room or workshop kind of

meetings are performed. Hence, I need to be present at onshore for people & program management.

Q- What does make you different to be selected for this role than your peers?

This program requires good Program management experience in <project domain, example banking, insurance, life

sciences> with agile methodology, experience of Client processes, experience of multi-vendor environment, experience of

long duration with big team size & high risk projects. As per my overall professional experience, I fit into this role.

Q- Tell me about your program

This is a program consists of 3 projects. All are related to Manufacturing, facilities & clinical research sub-domains of Life

Sciences respectively. Data will be fetched from diverse sources, then create data warehouse will be and then report

creation on top of that. All projects first phases vary from 3 to 6 agile sprints and ranging from 3 to 6 months duration. Later,

there will be more phases in each project. Technology stack is Java, Oracle, XML, UNIX.

These projects are in initial phase. Team at onshore has been identified and is being on-boarded. Once I reach there, agile

execution will start.

Initially, I will be having 40 persons team based at onshore only. This team will grow up to 100 people primarily at onshore.

As of now, there will be 10 associate reporting to me directly.

1) People management in which I need to manage my team working at client’s premise. Their allocation, goal setting, is

aligning their aspirations to project goals, task planning, task tracking, deliverable review, query resolution & in-person

mentoring, half yearly & year-end performance review.

2) Program Management by finalizing task order & Participating in project sprint planning with client including other

vendors which includes scope management by freezing user story, schedule management by deciding duration of sprint,

effort estimation & resource allocation, finalizing commercials, highlighting dependencies/risk/issues on timely basis, sprint

test planning, daily/weekly status reporting, sprint release planning and warranty support planning.

3) Client Management by discussing face-to-face feedback, lessons learnt and areas of improvement in program

execution, and plan for improvement implementation.

4) Pipeline opportunity management by conducting Workshops for pipeline or future projects.
